re- is dedicated to the figure of the knight and thus towards a re-shaped sense (or: re-alisation) of masculinity. Both in re-alities of the mystical, the fairytale, the modern romanticisation and historically documented: What lingers under the layers of armour and performativity of masculinity becomes a site of re-invention in re-.
Männlichkeit muss sich verändern.
re- widmet sich der Figur des Ritters und damit einem umgeformten Sinn (oder: Re-alisierung) von Männlichkeit. Sowohl in den Re-alitäten des Mystischen, des Märchenhaften, der modernen Romantisierung als auch im historisch Dokumentierten: Was unter den Schichten der Rüstung und der Performativität von Männlichkeit verborgen bleibt, wird in re- zu einer Stätte der Re-invention.
