between live and recorded sound, video projections and lights, a piano trio together with a performer invite the audience into a concert space. SPIEGEL IM SPIEGEL is a space, that makes the format “concert” itself visible. it questions things that are granted. a shared space between musicians and audience at the same time, offering new hearing perspectives in front of halfways closed doors, through recording techniques that completely distort the usually attempted balanced sound of musicians, by physically re-approaching their instruments to become a sounding, multiinstrumentalist microorganism themselves.
